TDK推出的LN类型( Low Noise低噪声)磁带，是后来最畅销的磁带「D」系列的前身。包装的设计与之前同时期的产品几乎相同，采用了钻石标志为主的图案。自本产品发售以后，其它各公司也都开始给标准型的磁带命名为「Low Noise」。该系列有塑料盒和经济型纸质包装盒两个版本。

The design of the packaging is almost the same as the previous product of the same period, using a diamond logo-based pattern.
